Acne is a common skin condition amongst all kinds of ages. Men get them, women get them, teenagers get them and old people get them. The only thing safe to say about acne is, you can get them in positively any age. Now for such a terrible disease that affects mostly the skin of the face, one would like to know how it develops and where it came from. This isn’t background information of ancestors of acne, God forbid there were any? This is merely a background check on where and how they developed.
How does acne develop?
There are several reasons for this. Sometimes it is because one does not take enough care of the skin and the accumulated dirt and clogged pores lead to a severe condition of acne that becomes permanent over time if not taken care of at the appropriate moment. Other times, teenagers develop it because of their genes. If their parents had it when they were youngsters, then it is most likely that their children will suffer from the same cause besides the fact that they generally take care of their skin and are clean. Acne could also develop from a small case of pimples. Sometimes the children don’t like the increasing whiteheads and blackheads that are on their skin and they antagonize it further by squeezing it or trying to take it out. It doesn’t heal and only leaves spots and marks on the skin. There are various ways in which one can get acne. It is not a disease that has changed over time or has takes a different form in every human being. There are different types but the general consensus of acne is the same; it is really a horrible thing to encounter, especially in the days of adolescence.
Types of Acne
If one researches about this online, there would probably be countless scientific names of Acne that one has never even heard of. The names are likely to confuse, make angry and think that this is some kind of major disease. This is not the case. The only types of acne you should be worried about are:
• Mild Acne
This type of acne usually develops in teenagers when they are facing a lot of changes in puberty and their raging hormones bring about effects on their body that are invisible and at times visible in the form of hair and acne. Even pregnant women get mild acne in their stages of pregnancy, again for the same reason; their hormonal changes are great and takes effect on their skin. But the thing with mild acne is, it is true to its name. It is only ‘mild’ and does not take a permanent stance on the body. If treated, it disappears quickly and if left untouched then it takes time to vanish but it does. It is best not to mess with it yourself otherwise; it could change from a case of being only ‘mild’. Mild acne usually consists of blackheads, whiteheads and papules. They are bumps on the skin and are temporary.
• Severe Acne
This form of acne is what people have nightmares about. It spreads over the face, usually on the cheeks or the forehead and doesn’t seem to go away no matter what precautions or treatments you adopt. With severe acne, one has to be really patient. It will take time to process and the time for the skin to clear up but usually your skin never returns back to its normal looking shape. There are natural acne kits that are great and safe for treatment. Severe acne consists of cysts and follicles and nodules that have created a home in the skin. Unusually so, severe acne develops mostly because of a human’s own fault. Either they do not pay attention to the acne until it gets really bad or they do something with it that makes it bad.
Acne isn’t like HIV that one shudders at the name of it but usually for some people, nothing can be worse than having a disfigured face. But with percentage of the population suffering from acne and all the help and remedies available, especially the natural acne kits, one can really fight it.
